Michael Craig-Martin

Martin Craig-Martin was born in Dublin on August 28th, 1941.  He is a contemporary conceptual artist and a painter.  His work above is from the 1960's to today.  I appologize that I did not put it in order.  You can see how his work varies as the years go on.  The objects he uses are geniussss. I oviously really like it considering that I posted about seventeen pieces of his artwork.  Look at more of his artwork on the website below.

Martin Creed

Martin Creed was born in Wakefield, England in 1968.  He attended The Slade School of Fine Art in London England from 1986 to 1990.  He has various amounts of work that range from instilations, paintings, photographs, and drawings.  I LOVE the simplicity about his work.  The last piece I posted was created on paper with highlighter pens.  He has an upcoming show in London called 'Mothers' at Hauser & Wirth's new Savile Row gallery from January 20th to March 5th.  This is going to be an amazing exhibition.  I wish I could see it in person.  Look at the websites below for more of his artwork.

YAGO HORTAL

This is what I call Art WORK!  These pieces attracted my attention immediatly.  I LovE his use of color and how he uses the paint. Yago Hortal was born in Barcelona in 1983 and now lives in Berlin. He has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Spain and a 4th Course at the University of Seville, Spain. He has shown his work in numerous group shows and some individual shows as well.  It is quite amazing how he uses the paint.  Not too many people can understand paint like some of us do...
